In-House Junior Fixtures

  • Played during the school term and not on the school holidays or public holidays.

Red Hotshots fixtures Tuesday 3:30-4:15pm

  • Red level players that are able to bounce and hit feed and hold a small rally.
  • Both Singles and Doubles are played with the coaches teaching the kids to be independant and score themselves.
  • Maximum 8-10 players.
  • Red Balls are used over the Mini Nets.
  • There is a semi finals and finals held on one Sunday at the end of the Semester (6 months) where the winners / runner ups get a trophy.

Orange Hotshots fixtures Tuesday 4:15-5:15pm

  • Orange Level players that are able to serve, rally and score with minimal help.
  • Both Singles and Doubles are played.
  • How many sets is dependant on the number of players in the competition.
  • Maximum 8-10 players.
  • Orange balls are used and  3/4 size court.
  • There is a semi finals and finals held on one Sunday at the end of the Semester (6 months) where the winners / runner ups get a trophy.

Green Hotshots fixtures Tuesday 5:15-6:30pm

  • Green Level players that are able to serve, rally and score with minimal help.
  • Both Singles and Doubles are played.
  • How many sets is dependant on the number of players in the competition. 
  • Maximum 8-10 players.
  • Green balls are used and a full size court.
  • There is a semi finals and finals held on one Sunday at the end of the Semester (6 months) where the winners / runner ups get a trophy.

Yellow fixtures Friday 5:15-6:30pm

  • Yellow level fixtures players that are new to fixtures and are able to serve, rally and score with minimal help.
  • Both Singles and Doubles are played.
  • How many sets is dependant on the number of players in the completion.
  • Maximum 8-19 players.
  • Yellow balls are used and a full size court.
  • There is a semi finals and finals held on one Sunday at the end of the Semester (6 months) where the winners / runner ups get a trophy.

$150 Get Started membership assistance

  • Samford Tennis Club is registered for Get Started a program from the Queensland Government’s Get in the Game initiative which assists children (5 to 18 years) who cannot afford to play tennis by providing an annual $150 voucher to cover membership costs.
  • Local children can use these vouchers at Samford Tennis Club to receive Gold Membership to our Club, which will provide the child a FREE tennis racquet and practice balls and FREE access to our tennis courts during the day and only $5 per hour at night!
